Main Match #2...

We will begin the 2nd round of "The Genius" game.

Henry was eliminated in the 1st round and now there are 12 players left.

Before we start the game, I will reveal the garnet counts.

There are altogether 19 garnets in the game now.

In the original game, we equate a garnet to around $10,000. And the winner at the end of the season wins the total number of garnets in the game.

So if this is the real game, you all cumulatively hold a total of $190,000.

We will begin the 2nd Main Match.

The 2nd Main Match is "Seat Exchange".

In the "Seat Exchange" game, you will exchange seats to complete a straight.

There exists numbers from "1" to "11" and finally an "X".

All of you will be assigned one of these numbers at the start of the game randomly.

However, your number will go up by 1 every round.

The number "1" player will become "2".

The number "2" player will become "3".

However, the number "11 " player will become "X" in the next round.

"X" will become "1".

A straight is achieved when there are 5 players with consecutive numbers that sit side by side.

"11" and "1" are considered consecutive numbers.

For example: "9", "10", "11", "1" and "2" would be considered a straight.

However, "X" cannot be counted as part of a straight.

Therefore, avoiding the changing "X" and forming a straight is this game's goal.

If there are more than 5 players with consecutive numbers, it is not counted as a straight.

You must make a straight with exactly 5 people.

I will then explain how the game will be played.

Without any knowledge of your own number, you will be taking one of 12 seats labelled "A" to "L" which is placed in a circle in order. Therefore, "A" will be placed next to "L".

Once everyone has chosen a seat, then you will learn of your own number respectively through your confessionals page.  

The longest straight in the current seating will also be revealed.

Time periods will be given for you to do seat trading.

During the seat trading period, two consenting players who wishes to swap seats may do so once per round.

The two player must post on this thread that they want to exchange seats with the other person for the seat trading to formally take place.

If the longest straight is 5 at the end of the time period, the game ends. If not, the next round starts.

The players in the straight will all receive a token of life an 1 garnet each. The person in the middle of straight will also receive an additional 5 garnets.

When the game ends, "X" will automatically become the elimination candidate and choose a player without a token of life to go to the death match with.

You now need to place a number beside a seat below before 730 PM EST. Those who don't do that will be randomly assigned a seat.

Each round will be of a different time period so take note of the deadline when I post at the start of the round.

Take note that you are also supposed to keep track of what number are you in the current round.

The 2nd Main Match will begin at 730 PM EST. Feel free to discuss until then. As usual, if you want to request for a room, feel free to ask me.

A few questions Mas:

1. You said two consenting players can swap once per round. So if I swap with Blake, neither of us can swap again during the round?

2. We all initially pick seats. Then you reveal our numbers and the longest straight. If the straight is 5 at that point, is the game over?

3.If there are two straights of 5 at the end of the round, that automatically means the 2 not part of the straight are in the death match, correct?

4. You said place a number by a letter below before 730 or be randomly assigned a number. I thought we were all randomly assigned numbers after we sat down. Could you clarify that?

Sorry, I meant place your name besides a letter. And you will be randomly assigned a letter if you don't place your name by the deadline. Each letter corresponds to a seat. Will amend that.

1. Yes, that is correct. Each player can only swap once per round. They can choose not to swap if they don't want to.

2. Yes, it would be over.

3. Yes, that would be correct. X and the number not part of the straight.

I will reveal the number of chairs in the straight and the challenge will start. I know some of you have been interested to know how the numbers are got. It has to be chosen randomly before you even sit on the seats. So, it doesn't matter what seat you take. You would have still got the same number.

Everybody should have already gotten their numbers in their confessionals.

This is Round 1.

The current straight is "3".

Round 1 will end at 9 PM EST.

Every round will be of a different duration so take note.

You are free to swap seats. As long 2 person swap seats properly, you do not need to wait for me to approve.

I had no idea I had to participate in death matches, oops.

I should have asked this before but how do we sit in a straight? Do 5 people have to post here "sit"?

You then said straight is 3 for round 1. Does that mean that Blake (3), Nat (4), Sam (5), Dana (6) and Jess (7) have to in that order post "sit" here to get a straight?
