Just fo clarify I'm not allowed to choose what card I want to trade right? It follows the rules?

The highest number, the color, etc. So by that definition it's safe to assume that I would have to give up my green, if I pick something that doesn't have a green?

you can only choose the card that you want to trade. but you cannot ask for a specific card that you want. i will look at the virtual players cards and decide which is the best card to give you based on the opened cards.

As for what I meant. I thought that the virtual players were essentially here to screw us up on getting Quattro so they'd take the best card. Hence, my green 5.

ahh no, you choose your card to exchange then the virtual player will decide what they choose from their 3 cards. as much as possible, they will try to help u achieve the quattro based on your opened cards

for now, you cannot exchange one card yet. the virtual players haven't got their cards. if you think your 4 cards are not ok, you must change all 4 cards. not just one card.

the two tries is to exchange all 4 cards. once both players determine they want to keep the 4 cards, then you can exchange 1 card each time with one virtual player at a time.
