Death Match #8...

We have our two Death Match players:

Nat and Adam.

Nat has 15 garnets. Adam has 8 garnets.

Garnets and elimination are on the line.

The 8th Death Match is "Indian Poker".

I will explain the rules once again.

Indian Poker is a simple poker game where the player with the higher number takes the pot.

Indian Poker is played with 2 sets of 10 numbers, with a set ranging from "1" to "10".

You will each start the game with 20 chips.

Using Random.org, these 20 numbers are randomly ordered and each player will be posted a number on their confessional page.

However, the number that is posted on your page is not your own but your opponent's number.

You will not know what is the own number that is assigned to you.

When a round begins, each player will pay an ante of 1 chip and betting will begin with the starting player.

Players may place any number of bets of their choice based on their knowledge of their opponent's number.

There is no limit to how many chips you may bet.

There are three options for betting.

• The first option is to bet the same amount as your opponent. This will end the betting round and both players' numbers will be revealed.
  
• The second option is to bet more than the previous bet. In this case, betting will continue and numbers won't be revealed.
  
• The third option is to fold. When a player folds, their opponent wins the round automatically.

However, if a player folds with a 10, they must pay a penalty of 5 chips to their opponent.

If both players have the same card, they will split the pot and get back their chips.

When a player loses all of their chips, the game will end.

The two players now must decide on a time that is convenient for both.

For me, I should be free tomorrow and Fri from 730 PM EST to 1130 PM EST.

Tomorrow would probably need to be late. Maybe 11pm eastern or later.

i might be able to do tomorrow at 11 pm est. since sch just started, i need to firm up my timetable. if for some reason i can't, i will inform you all again tomorrow night by 730 pm est. but for now, it should be alrite.

I have a question. Each player gets their own set, right? So each person gets one of each number and I can't end up with like 2 10's?

Nope. The 20 cards are in one virtual deck. So, you might get 2 10s
