Main Match #1...

Hello! Some questions before we start the challenge.

1) What are your thoughts on finding out about the main match?

2) Do you think you will be able to find a way to win the main match?

3) What animal do you think is the best for you to have?

4) What animal do you want to avoid in getting?

5) Do you think the main match is too complicated?

1/ only 1 problem...finding out the animal at 8pmET , which is 1am for me.
2/ depending on which animal I am , it's possible.
3/ chameleon/snake/hyena
4/ lion / mouse
5/ no , simply because alliances will be formed. 3 or 4 people working together could win this easy

can I ask one here ? Why did you ask us which animal we would rather not be ? is that so you can specifically give us that animal, as a sort of extra challenge lol ?!?!

Also, if I ask for a room , can you make it accessible for only certain players ? and also, would other players be able to see the room even if they cannot access it ?

regarding the animal, it's just a qn. the animals will be given randomly

and the rooms will only be accesible for some. and the rest can't see it.

I've been thinking about it some more , and the hyena is definitely the best one to have, as there is no way the lion is surviving lol

every animal has a chance of surviving. it depends on what the other animals will be doing haha

I disagree lol , the lion has to eat every round !! and has to go back to its own habitat at least twice....if you are one of the preys, why in your right mind would you chose to into the field where there are 2 predators ??

Main Match #1:

We will now begin the 1st main match.

The 1st main match is "Food Chain"

The predator-prey interaction of 13 animals is shown in a food chain.

There are 4 predators and 9 equal-leveled preys.

Higher level animals can attack a lower level animal and feed on them.

You will be randomly become one of these animals and if you meet that animal's condition, you will become the winner of this game.

The win conditions are different for every animal.

For example, surviving until the end could be a win condition.

There is also an animal that wins if another animal survives.

Before the game begins, you can choose one player and you may peek at what animal that player is.

The game consists of 4 rounds.  

When a round begins, players choose to move to one of river, sky, field or forest.

However, each animal has a main habitat and if they spend a round outside their main habitat, they must return to their main habitat in the next round.

After moving, you may attack any animal in the same area.

If the target is a lower-level animal, the attack is succesful and the target is eaten.

However, if the target is on the same-level, nothing will happen.

Attacks are carried out by posting on the area on which animal you are attacking.

Attacks are only known to the same players in the area. The other players in the different areas will only know that player has died.

At the end of the round, you need to post on your confessional which location you are going. If I didn't receive anything, the player will be assigned their natural location.

After round 4 ends, everyone will be spilt up into players who have met their win conditions and players who didn't.

The winners will all receive a token of life and choose one of the losers to become the elimination candidate.

The elimination candidate will choose another loser for the death match to decide who will be eliminated first.  

The winners of the main match will each be given 1 garnet.

These are the timings for the 4 rounds.

Round 1: Thu, 11 PM EST to Fri, 9 AM EST. Fri, 9 AM EST to Fri, 1 PM EST.
Round 2: Fri, 1 PM EST to Fri, 9 PM EST. Fri, 9 PM EST to SAT, 12 AM EST.
Round 3: Sat, 12 AM EST to Sat, 9 AM EST. Sat, 9 AM EST to Sat, 1 PM EST.
Round 4: Sat, 1 PM EST to 9 PM EST.

The second timings are the timings when you have to post on your confessionals page the location you need to go.

I have another question.

I'm the snake, I need 9 animals to die to win.
The hyena can win if the lion dies, regardless of whether the hyena survives. My question is this :
Suppose the hyena dies cause it tries to eat me...but it wins because the lion didn't eat in all 4 rounds , does the hyena's death still count as one of my nine required, even though it has won the game ?

Yes, it's counted. Deaths are not related to the eventual wins

I have another question lol , you'll be sick of me by the end of this game !!

The person we want to peek at , and the first location we choose , do we need to post both of those simultaneously, or can we post those separately ?
